Note:  This Taxation is recorded on one long toll. On the inside the three Eastern Rapes of Hastings, Pevensey, and Lewes are entered in three parallel columns. The three Western Rapes of Bramber, Arundel, and Chichester are similarly entered on the dorse. Both the front and back of the roll are damaged at the beginning; the rest is in excellent order.

This appears to be an alternative (and later) transcription of the record that features in the previous file.
