1866 : Mr Pluckrose Shows his Blue Terrier

CANINE FANCY

A show of dogs will take place at Mr Anderson’s, Ship, Hunt-street, Spicer-street, Brick-lane, on April 8, when the Fancy will attend and show their toy dogs. Mr W. Chance, Mr Watson, Mr Walton, G. Lawrence, Mr Tweed, and Mr Lewes will show their stock of terriers. Mr Payne and Mr Pluckrose will show their two blue terrier stock dogs that are matched, for £5 a side - a treat in themselves. All the members of the Spaniel and Terrier Club, held at the above house, will attend and show their prize dogs. Rules and all information of the above club to be had at the bar. Mr Denny will show his toy bulldogs. Steve Polson will show Mr King’s bulldog Prince, Mr Gifford and Mr Cronshaw will show their choice bulldogs. Mr A. will show his terriers.
