HUSBAND AND WIFE FOUND WOUNDED

Early yesterday Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pluck, of Chandos Avenue, Walthamstow, were found by a neighbour suffering from serious head injuries, and were both taken to Whipps Cross Hospital. A son of the injured couple, Leonard Pluck, aged 25, who lived with them, was afterwards found drowned in the River Lee. His absence from the house led to inquiries being set on foot to discover his whereabouts, and soon after daybreak the police began dragging the River Lee at a point near the house, and his body was found. It is stated that for some time past Mr. Arthur Pluck has been an invalid, and so serious was his condition recently that he was not expected to live. Mrs. Pluck did not regain consciousness in the hospital until nearly noon. Mr. Pluck, who was not quite so seriously hurt, was able to make a statement to a detective.

These are: PL46, PL57 and PL244 who can be found in Tree7.
