GOOD INTENT ANGLERS. - There was a capital display at this society, perhaps the best throughout the different clubs. Mr Maybery had roach and trout, E. Pluckrose a tray of carp, Mr C. Bates roach and dace, Mr Gadbury roach, Mr Needham roach and dace, Mr Wilkinson ditto, Mr Wheeler tench, Mr J. Pluckrose dace, Mr Guntrip rudd, Mr Murphy dace, and Mr Snook roach. Forty-two members fished lately at Roydon, in the river Stort, for a series of valuable prizes, which were all won, though the catches were not so large as we could wish. The first prize was won by Mr Taverner, the second by Mr Bates, the prize being a sack of flour, and Messrs. Pluckrose, Hadkiss, Rose, Howe, and Baker were also successful. The arrangements were admirably condicted by Mr Murphy the secretary.
