He died on 30 April 1917, in the later stages of the Battle of Arras, aged 34. He was buried at the Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun, in the Pas de Calais.

The CWGC site records that he was the son of Mr A Pluck of Cement Cottages, Hauxton, Cambridge.

He can be found in Tree 101, PL1759, the son of Arthur Pluck and Martha Morgan.
