He died of his wounds on 7 June 1918, aged 23. He is buried at the Wimereux Communal Cemetery, Pas de Calais.

The CWGC site records that he was a native of Plaistow and the son of Robert and Emma Pluck, of Plaistow, Essex.

He enlisted in Sydney, N.S.W.

He can be found in Tree 10; he is PL0345.
