He died on 13 January 1945, aged 20, and was buried at the Forli War Cemetery in north Italy.

The CWGC site records that he was the son of Laurence and Rose E Pluck.

The UK Army Roll of Honou, 1939-1945, has some further information: he enlisted in the Royal Irish Fusiliers (Princess Victoria's), his service number was 7043113, he was born in Eire and resident in Liverpool.

It has not been possible to link him to any of the present Trees.
