John Thomas Pluck
Corporal, 2nd Bn, Canterbury Regiment, N.Z.E.F.

He died in the the first Battle of Passchendaele on 12 Oct 1917, aged 24. He is commemorated at the Tyne Cot Memorial.

The CWGC site records that he was the youngest of the thirteen children of Charles Pluck and Caroline Mary Ann Pratt who emigrated to New Zealand in 1874. He was born in Rakaia, N.Z. on 1st December 1893.
