He died on 25 December 1915, aged 21. He is buried at the Vieille-Chapelle New Military Cemetery, Lacouture, Pas de Calais.

The CWGC site records that he was the son of Mrs S A Pluckrose of 19 Cromwell Buildings, Red Cross Street, Borough, London.
