  GARVIN [Husband] Nothing is known about Mary's husband. Mary is unmarried in 1880 and a widow by the time of the 1900 census. She has one child, her daughter Jennie M, who, in 1900 (aged 17) is still at school and by 1910, unmarried and aged 26, is a music teacher.

2909 PLUCK Anne The baptismal record gives Mary Brien as the mother. Jane Liebzeit believes this is an error and I am inclined to agree. There is a Hugh Pluck married to Mary Brien in Tree1009, but this Hugh was too young to have been the father/husband in this instance.
