C1911: age 37, separated, printers warehouseman, born London, St Mary. He records 11 years of marriage and four children, none of whom have died. This ignores the first Blanche who was born a few weeks after his marriage and who died at the age of 2. There is no doubt about her parentage because a baptismal record naming her parents exists. His wife may have left but his mother in law and two nieces are still with him. I have not been able to find Hannah in the1911 census.

Served with the Royal Engineers in France in WW1.
He remarried soon after his first wife died. His second wife is recorded in the marriage index as Ada M H Allen or Ahlstedt. Presumably she was a widow who was born Allen and married an Ahlstedt, although I can not find a record in the GRO marriage index.

There is a possible death: Frederick William T Pluck, Q1 1977, Camberwell 11 1584, born 8 Aug 1900. There is also a possible marriage to Ruby Ferguson in Q2 1940, Camberwell 1d 2351.

In 1841 census (bailiff), 1851 census (publican and carrier), 1861 (ag lab). In 1871 living with son Joseph and his family (wife with Samuel's family). In 1881 census living with daughter in law, the widowed Elizabeth.
2235 PLUCK John David In 1851 and 1861 (recorded as David) censuses. Not found in 1871 under either name. In 1881, 1891 and 1901 censuses. No children recorded.

2245 PLUCK Leonard His is recorded as Leonard Pluck in the 1881 census. He was born more than four years after the death of his notional father. His birth was registered under the name of Leonard MILLS - the same name as the lodger in the census. In 1891 and 1901 censuses.
3755 PLUCK Lilian Victoria C1911: 4 year old schoolgirl. She married Joseph Thompson in Lambeth in Q2 1927 and died in the same quarter, aged only 20.

2263 PLUCK Matilda Maude 1901; C1911: Maud Matilda, age 24, single, born Croxley Green, Herts, domestic servant, living in the household of Robert Chew, landlord of the "Seven Bells, Harrow on the Hill.
Maud was the second wife of James Warren. He married his first wife, Marion Esther Nice, in 1905 at St Albans, Acton Green, they had two children (twins), George Francis Warren and Kathleen Mabel, born in 1907. There must have been a divorce because there is no record of the death of Marion at that time.

2234 PLUCK Reuben In 1851 and 1861 censuses. In 1881 he is a patient in the Middlesex Lunatic Asylum, aged 39, unmarried. I have not found him in the 1871 or 1901 censuses.

In 1841 census two of her children by her first marriage are living with the family: John Unwin (21) and Martha Unwin (19). Also in 1851 and 1861 censuses. In 1871 census living with son Samuel and his family in Rickmansworth (husband with Joseph's family). In 1881 census living with her widowed daughter in law.
