Cheshunt Pluckroses

Origins

The head of this tree is Daniel Pluckrose whose origins are unknown at present. In fact, much is still a mystery since I haven't yet found any definite post-1901 marriages or deaths.

1648	PLUCKROSE	Beatrice	husband identified via FreeBMD and 1901 census.
1650	PLUCKROSE	Bertie	In the 1891 and 1901 censuses but I can't find a marriage.
1645	PLUCKROSE	Daniel	His origins are unknown. He can't be found in the 1861 census (he would have been 8) which would provide a family link. In the 1871 census he is living in Shadwell (age 17 born Woodford) working as a tripe dresser's shopman. In the 1881 census he is back in Cheshunt, married to Ellen, and working as a cowman.
1647	PLUCKROSE	Ernest George	He was born in Cheshunt which is within the Edmonton RD. I am not sure about a marriage: there is Ernest Albert PR who married Q2 1898 West Ham 4a 335 to either Theresa Agnes Morris or Kate Thompson. However, I can't find ANY E(a)rnest Pluckrose in the 1901 census. He is in the 1881 and 1891 censuses but can't be found in 1901. There isn't a relevant death between 1891 and 1901.
1649	PLUCKROSE	Frank	He is in the 1891 census but I can't find him in 1901. There is a possible marriage: Frank Pluckrose - Sep 1901 Brighton 2b 515.
1653	PLUCKROSE	Jessie	There are a couple of possible marriages: Q3 1907 Edmonton 3a 814 and Q4 1914 Marylebone 1a 1413 spouse: Davies. The former looks most likely.
1651	PLUCKROSE	Louis	Can't find Louis in 1901 census, but Thomas is there, quite clearly, and the right age for Louis, but can't find HIM in the GRO index. Perhaps Louis didn't like his name?
1652	PLUCKROSE	Victor	Found in the 1901 census, but no later marriage found yet.
1646	SPARROW	Ellen	Identified as Daniel's wife via Free BMD and 1881 census.
