Notes on Twig 3

Clavering and Little Hadham Pluckroses

Origins

This is a collection of three twiglets.  The heads of two of the twiglets could be brothers.  The head of the third twiglet is probably descended from someone in the first twiglet, but a gap in the available on-line records for Little Hadham makes the link uncertain.

0860 PLUCKROSE Grace VRI has a Mary baptised on this date and the IGI C/E has a Grace on the same date. Either (1) an error, or (2) twins. There has not been time between the date of this baptism, and the previous child, for another to have been born.
1710 PLUCKROSE H3 George His parentage is still unknown. He could be the son of John (PL0855) or of George (PL0858).
1634 PLUCKROSE Mary VRI has a Mary baptised on this date and the IGI C/E has a Grace on the same date. Either (1) an error, or (2) twins. There has not been time between the date of this baptism, and the previous child, for another to have been born.
1716 PLUCKROSE Mary She may have died in 1720. There is a burial record in Little Hadham, but no age is given.
1713 PLUCKROSE William Haven't found his first marriage yet, or the death of his first wife, Martha.
He features in the local militia roll in 1758 and 1761.
1724 RUDD Martha William and Martha were not in prison. This was a so-called "Clandestine Marriage conducted by a clergyman who was usually confined in the Fleet Prison for debt.
