The following were convicted; - Ann Murray, aged 23, and Susanna Furmery, 16, stealing three forks and other articles; Patrick M’Donald, 30, and John Walker, 30, stealing 70 lbs of lead; John Slight, 54, receiving the same, well knowing it to be stolen; Geo. Ferguson, 19, and Caroline Burnett, 19, stealing the sum of 1l. 7s., a handkerchief, &c.; Jane Lockyer, 16, William West, 23, and John Jones, 19, stealing a watch; John Hancock, 23, stealing two blankets, &c.; Timothy Kaylor, 14, and Benjamin Brommage, 17, stealing from the person; Elizabeth Harwood, 36, stealing 14s. 6d.; George Knight, 20, embezzlement; John Johnson, 24, stealing a spoon, &c.; Thomas Hughes, 32, stealing 920 pieces of ivory; Sarah Dixon, 58, stealing a shirt; William Clements, 15, embezzlement; John Baxter, 22, and Robert Stewart, 18, stealing some moreen stuff; James Anslou, 20, John Haggess, 26, and Benjamin Wilby, 20, stealing a book; Robert Tedman, 23, stealing 40 lbs. of salt; John Pluckrose, 32, stealing 16 feet of elm board; Thomas Crawter, 19, stealing some cloth, &c.; Henry Stone, 17, stealing a truck; Mary Ann Shaw, 31, stealing a blanket, &c.; George Smith, 15, and George Brewer, 14, stealing a shovel; William Murrell, 22, stealing a coat, &c.; Fred. Michael, 23, stealing a hat; J. Lovesay, 33, stealing two shifts, &c.; W. Hincks, 36, stealing from the person; J. Green, 19, stealing 15 napkins, &c.; John Dunken, 14, stealing a timepiece; William Cook, 17, stealing the sum of 11s. 8d.; Chas. Warren, 17, stealing a basket; John Phillips, 45, stealing women’s apparel.

"Moreen stuff" is a stout material used for curtains.
