FUNERAL AT FELIXSTOWE


The funeral of Mrs. Warner, 59, wife of Mr. Alfred Warner, of Berwick Lodge, Felixstowe, took place on Saturday afternoon1 at Felixstowe Parish Church. A service was first held at the Congregational Church, participated in by Mr. Samuel Alexander and Mr. Metford Warner, of the Society of Friends, to which the deceased lady belonged. After the singing of the hymn, “Nearer, my God, to Thee,” the cortege proceeded to the old Parish Church. The chief mourners were:— Mr. Alfred Warner, husband; Mr. Wilfred Warner and Mr. A. L. Warner, the Misses Dora and Gertrude Warner, Mr. F. Banks Warner and Dorothy Warner, children; Mr. W. H. Barrett, Miss Barrett (Brentwood), Mr. Geoffrey Barrett (Chelmsford), Mr. Metford Warner (London), Mr. Samuel Alexander, Mr. Loftus Lambourn, Mr. Ramsey (Walton and Felixstowe Adult School), the Misses Collinson (Ipswich), Nurse Ida Bartholomew (Tunbridge Wells), Miss Thurman, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Atkins, Nurse Tye (Ipswich), Mr. C. J. Archer, Mrs. Mudd, and servants of the deceased, and others. Floral tributes were sent by Mr. Alfred Warner, Dora, Wilfred, Gertie, and Llewy; Frank and Dorothy, Mr. and Miss Barrett. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Barrett (Colchester), the Misses Edith and Lucy Barrett, Mr. and Mrs. Fleming (London), Mr. and Mrs. J. Hanks, Miss Gertrude Pluckrose, Nurse Ida Bartholomew, members of Walton and Felixstowe Adult School, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Archer, Nurse Tye, Dr. Giuseppi, Mr. and Mrs. Baker, Mademoiselle Rabbe (London), Mrs. Gooding and Olive, Alice Mudd, Irena and Leila Crisp, Cissie and Stanley Clarke, and others.
