Laurence Trenur appeared by John Byketon his attorney for a fourth day against Roger Bolla, William Rest, Thomas Smyth, John Pluk, Richard Pluk, Robert Crop, Nicholas Lucas, Robert Dakys, Nicholas Romyn, John Trebydanan, John Grygga, John Irlond, John Hynde and Robert Bullok, in a plea wherefore they, together with William Trenewyth, by force of arms broke into a close and houses of the said Laurence at Trenant and took and led off two horses of his found at Trelylla, worth 40s, and killed a horse of his worth 5 marks found at Lyskyrd, and cut down his trees lately growing at Resnanallan, and took and carried off them and other his goods and chattels, to the value of £20, found at Trespery, Lostwithyell, Bodweiek, Tremoor, Atte, Wartha and Trenosmor, as well as a charter of his found at Dreynes, and (inflicted) other enormities (on him) &c. and against the peace of the king &c. And (the defendant) has not come; and it had been ordered the sheriff to attach them &c. And the sheriff now reports that they have nothing (in his bailwick in lands or chattels whereby they might be attached) &c. Therefore let them be taken, to be here on the morrow of Midsummer &c. And whereof &c. The same day is given to the aforesaid William Trenewith by his attorney here &c.
