CLUB DOINGS
GOOD INTENT
The members of this club fished a pegged-down match at Roydon on June 22, for seven
valuable prizes, the winners being the following: Mr. Tavener, 1st; Mr. C. Bates, 2nd;
Mr. Rose, 3rd; Mr. Pluckrose, 4th; Mr. Hadkiss, 5th; Mr. Baker, 6th; and Mr. Howe, 7th.
There was a splendid show of fish at the club on the 29th, by the following members:— E.
Pluckrose, carp; Gadbury, roach and dace; Needham, roach and dace — several over 1lb. — one
1lb. 7oz.; W. Wheeler, tench; J. Pluckrose, dace; Guntry, rud; Wilkinson, roach and
perch. The members are going for prizes next week, of which I will give you all particulars.
