Weston Colville Plucks
This small tree was originally a "loose branch" (Tree 103), but as time passed and more Plucks and Pluckroses were linked into trees, its link to Tree 1 became more obvious.
Tree 1 had John Pluckrose (PL204) living in Ickleton with his wife, Mary Burgaine (PL202). They had a daughter, born in Ickleton, who died shortly after her birth in 1661. That was as far as I could trace the family nearly ten years ago. When updating Tree 103, however, it soon became obvious that the head of the tree, John Pluckrose, and his wife Mary (maiden name unknown), who were raising a family in Linton (eldest child, Robert, born in 1662) were the same couple who had been living in Ickleton in Tree 1. Ickleton and Linton are villages that are only five miles apart. Even today, 350 years later, there are only fields between Linton and Ickleton.
